Foxtrot Organic Farm was the brain child of Jeff Hughes and Ellen Kamps, a project spanning 2013-2018 that took form as one of Kane County's only USDA certified organic farms. Together Jeff & Ellen grew 135 varieties of produce 30 miles outside of Chicago and supplied a CSA, semiweekly farmers market, farm to table restaurants and hotels. Their work has been featured in the Chicago Tribune, the Huffington Post, Kane County Chronicle, and on Food Tank. Their farm stand was voted #1 in Kane County for two consecutive years, and they were nominated for beginning farmer of the year by the Chicago Foodshed Network in 2018.

Foxtrot specialized in a customer-centric approach to marketing farming, creating a roadside stand that garnered 400 people per week, and an e-commerce business that saw thousands of transactions.
